Teachers need and deserve more uninterrupted planning time during the regular school day.
I just received the gift of a planning day with my teaching team. We were able to check off most items from our to-do list. Here's my Ode to Teacher Planning Time.
Teacher planning time is a lifesaver, and teachers need more of it. For many of us, it's less a part of our daily routine and more a sanity saver. When the class gets quiet, the students leave, and we have a moment to ourselves; it's like a sigh of relief.
Teaching is a constant juggling act, a balancing act, and a never-ending prioritization against the ticking clock. So, this planning time isn't just a schedule gap; it's a moment where order replaces chaos.
