Do The Hard Thing
It's the hard thing that opens doors and makes things happen.
The week before students arrive is often filled with meetings. The first half of the school day was filled with the important information that we get each year.
The last order of events was a wing meeting to discuss Habits of Scholarship to make sure the middle school was on the same page. We had half an hour to accomplish this task. I'm pretty sure we had our fill of meetings, but we kept at it until to we came to consensus.
By doing the hard thing, we gave our future selves a gift.
