Life is probably better with a balance between consuming and creating. It’s easier to consume. Creating provides purpose.

II.

Scheduling time to reflect is a powerful personal and professional growth tool. Find a structure that works for you and then stick to it. The practice is what matters. Every entry won’t be magnificent. The act of slowing down and thinking things through is a needed counter to a fast-paced existence.

I would add to stop the things that make it harder to get where you want to be. What distractions do you let into your daily routine?

Three Things is a record of thoughts, questions, inspiration, gratitude, and things that made my day better or made me better. Once written, I send them out into the world. Cue serendipity.
